AYL Canoe Training

The 2009 Arctic Youth Leadership program began on Monday, July 6, 2009. In the hot afternoon, the students began to learn basic canoe maneuvers and strokes in preparation for the Horton River. The group used both the canoes and lake at the Arctic Chalet for the training. All of the students remained dry, that is until the end of the session.
